Per week doen we in Nederland gemiddeld 3,6 keer de was. Arme papa’s en mama’s. Of is het maar net hoe je het bekijkt? Voor kinderen zit de was, de wasmand en de wasmachine vol leven! En zo ook in WAS; een non-verbale voorstelling vol verbeelding, over de schoonheid en het spel in het alledaagse.
Na de voorstelling kunnen de kinderen zelf spelen in de theaterspeeltuin vol wasmachines, wasmanden, droogrekken en natuurlijk de was!

On average, we do the laundry 3.6 times a week in the Netherlands. Poor moms and dads. Or is it just a matter of perspective? For children, the laundry, laundry basket, and washing machine are full of life! And so is WAS; a non-verbal performance full of imagination, about the beauty and playfulness in the everyday.
After the performance, children can play in the theater playground full of washing machines, laundry baskets, drying racks, and of course, laundry!
